Falconry in Rüdesheim/Rhine

Located directly beside the Niederwald Monument towards the forest, an exceptional attraction awaits visitors, the Falconry (“Adlerwarte”). You can admire around 25 different kinds of raptors and owls.
A tour is possible from March to October daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The falconry, however, remains closed if it is raining.

Ebental Farm in Rüdesheim/Rhine

Ebental Fam (“Ebentaler Hof”) is a small family-friendly recreational paradise.
The pony country with more than 50 ponies and other farm animals offers visitors the opportunity to go pony riding & to drive a carriage. Moreover, visitors can go on horse drawn vehicles with covered wagons.
In the rustic tavern with garden restaurant, where a selection of meals and drinks is offered, you can enjoy the cosy atmosphere.
Nature camping is possible, as is parking of campers.
Helicopter flights over the Rhine also take off from Ebental Farm.

Llama and Alpaca Farm Kisselmühle

The llama and alpaca farm Kisselmühle is situated approx. 1,500 m behind Eberbach Monastery in Eltville/Rhine in a very beautiful valley. More than 100 llamas and alpacas can be observed from a close distance.

After prior registration guided llama trekking tours or cheerful talking as well as picnics in the midst of the llama herd take place year-round – a great experience for children and adults alike.

Animal and Plant Park Wiesbaden

The Animal and Plant Park in Wiesbaden (“Fasanerie Wiesbaden”) with predominantly native animals and pedagogic experience opportunities in nature for children is home to around 50 animal species. Bears, lynx and wolves can be admired among others.
The Animal and Plant Park is open year-round for visitors from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., in winter from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
