Welcome to the Philipp Winery in Rüdesheim am Rhein in the beautiful Rheingau!

Enjoy a family winemaker atmosphere and quality wines from Riesling, Rivaner, or Spätburgunder from all the famous Rüdesheim vineyards in our idyllic courtyard, where our own wine has been served since 1905!

We offer you a delicious variety of Rheingau typical Vesper specialties made from regional ingredients! Whether for a small hunger, conscious enjoyment, or a more substantial accompaniment to the wine, there is something for every taste!

It is only a two-minute walk to the cable car that leads to the Niederwald Monument, and Drosselgasse is the street parallel to Steingasse.

The Winery

The Philipp Winery has been a family business for over 100 years, currently run by Herbert Philipp.

Our Riesling wines grow in the well-known Rüdesheim vineyard locations Berg Rottland, Berg Roseneck, Bischofsberg, Klosterberg, and Magdalenenkreuz.
The red wine, as well as the white wine made from Blue Spätburgunder, is grown in Berg Roseneck. We place great importance on environmentally friendly viticulture and produce quality and predicate wines up to a Riesling Auslese.
Our wines are available in the taste categories dry, semi-dry, or sweet.

The Winery Tasting Room

Here you can enjoy a good glass of wine in the idyllic winemaker courtyard under vine trellises in the old town.
We offer you traditional dishes in a typical Rheingau winemaker tasting room ambiance.
Since 1905, our own wine has been served at the Philipp Winery.

Today, quality and predicate wines from Riesling and Spätburgunder are available in all three taste categories. Sparkling wine, wine, yeast schnapps, a delicious vineyard peach liqueur, and non-alcoholic beverages complete the offer.
