Since 1953, the Niederwald Cable Car Assmannshausen has been in operation.
On the 30-minute round trip, guests can sit back and enjoy the special moment. This little break offers the perfect opportunity to unwind and escape the stressful everyday life. Even today, the cable car enchants young and old with its vintage flair. Float up to the heights of the Niederwald or enjoy picturesque views of the beautiful Rhine and the vineyards of Höllenberg during the ride down to the valley.

PLEASE NOTE: Currently, the Assmannshausen chairlift is out of service due to a technical defect.
