In the focal point of the stele, you can see in the foreground the slope of the Hattenheimer Schützenhaus vineyard, which slopes down to the west, a prime example of asymmetrical terroir development in the Rheingau. The Hallgartener Zange is the highest elevation in the Rheingau. The Steinberg is considered one of the top locations in the Rheingau.
