As Johannisberg winemakers, we feel particularly committed to the Riesling grape variety. This is because Riesling has achieved worldwide fame from Johannisberg. Not only because the first Riesling vines planted overseas in the 19th century originated from Johannisberg, but also because the quality of late harvest was discovered at Johannisberg in 1775.
