At the eastern gate to the Rheingau, we warmly welcome you to the wine village of Wicker at the "Gateway to the Rheingau."

Try the good Wicker wine in one of the local taverns or here at the wine tasting stand. The winemaker will gladly introduce you to the typical wines, especially the most commonly grown Riesling or a Spätburgunder. Here at the Gateway to the Rheingau, which was completed in 1982, the Rheingau Riesling Route and the Rheingau Riesling Path, as well as the local Wicker Wine Path begin, where you can learn interesting facts about grape cultivation and the history of the thousand-year-old wine village of Wicker through information boards. A walk through the village itself is recommended.
