At the eastern gate to the Rheingau, we warmly welcome you in the wine town of Wicker at the "Gate to the Rheingau."

Try the good Wicker wine in one of the local wine taverns or here at the wine tasting stand. The winemaker will gladly make you appreciate the typical wines, especially the Riesling, which is predominantly grown here, or a Spätburgunder. Here at the gate to the Rheingau, completed in 1982, the Rheingauer Riesling Route and the Rheingauer Riesling Path, as well as the local Wicker Wine Path, begin, where you can learn interesting facts about viticulture and the history of the thousand-year-old wine town of Wicker through information boards. A walk through the town itself is recommended.
