The Michael Gietz winery is now in its 6th generation of winegrowing. Over the years, the vineyard area has expanded to 6.5 hectares and is cultivated with Burgundy and Sauvignon Blanc in addition to the main variety Riesling. We will spoil you with our specially created wines and regional delicacies after a hike through the Rheingau, over a cozy lunch or dinner in our Gutsschänke or on the sun terrace with a view of the vineyards. If you would like to make a stopover in beautiful Johannisberg, our 8 guest rooms are available for overnight stays. You can enjoy breakfast with a view of Johannisberg Castle.
