Agathes in Walluf

Agathes is a Rheingau restaurant in Walluf. Originally a winery with its own wines (formerly Bonnets Weincabinet), the focus has shifted towards homemade, regional cuisine.

Agathe Bonnet still works in the kitchen here and continually creates new homemade delicacies. In addition to traditional home cooking, we ensure plenty of variety with seasonal dishes such as slaughter feast in spring, Flammkuchen in summer, game in autumn, or goose in winter.

If our guests occasionally lose track of time, we take that as a compliment!

• Agathe Bonnet cooks with passion. She is greatly interested in the kitchen and nutritional wisdom of Hildegard of Bingen and unprocessed foods. She sources her products primarily from the region. Together with her staff, she collects dandelion flowers, elderflowers, wild garlic, grape leaves, walnuts, and several herbs around Walluf. Everything is cooked and preserved without frills.
• Member of “Hessen à la carte”: Hessen à la carte is the cooperation of the Hesse regional cuisine. Around 100 member establishments from different regions of Hesse form Germany's oldest regional quality community. Hessen à la carte establishments entice you for more. They excite you for the Hessian cuisine, which stands for regional products, tradition, and innovation, and promises product quality, authenticity, and sustainability.
