"Im Dickicht" is weissraum. Studio for Photography's first open call: a group exhibition of conceptual and narrative photography that treats the thicket as a stage for storytelling rather than a nature idyll. The works on view were selected by a jury from international submissions.

Rheingau Geflüster combines a city walk with audio contributions, texts, images, and films that can be easily scanned, played, and collected with a smartphone. The whole thing is a great route that can be started in any order and experienced at your own pace. The short walk through the historic old town of Hochheim passes the parish church of St. Peter and Paul and the Grager Villa. Here, scan the QR code and you will learn the secret of the ceiling paintings. From the church, it leads into the vineyard landscape with views of the vines and the Main River. On the outskirts of town, the white silhouette of the Grager Villa, formerly the production site of the Carl Graeger sparkling wine house, is visible. Here you will find another exciting story: Hochheim, a CIA headquarters? What were the secret connections of Stefan Haller, the US intelligence service, and the elegant Grager Villa, where whiskey and sparkling wine flowed so abundantly? Scan the QR code and start the video. At the city winery of Hochheim, the path leads back into the old town and via Aichgasse and Rathausstraße back to the starting point.
