During the day, they manage the modern workplace at telephone switchboards and behind cumbersome typewriters or work on newspaper articles about the latest fashion trends. In the evenings, they transform into glamour girls, celebrating life in dance halls to jazz and Charleston - always in search of freedom, modernity, and a touch of decadence.
