For more than ten years, a spooky atmosphere has emerged in Marienthal right on time for Halloween. Initially, it was "only" a cemetery with specially created animatronics, but for several years now, there has been the opportunity to walk through a haunted house built specifically for this purpose and to get scared by amateur actors.
This year, the tour takes you through the "Sullivan County Jail" – a prison full of frightening personalities. The volunteer team of the "HauntedHouse Rheingau," which consists of about 20 people, has been working for a year to offer you a wonderfully scary experience.
The HauntedHouseRheingau is located in Marienthal, Im Sonnenrech 20, and opens its doors on October 30, October 31, November 6, and November 7, each time from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Additionally, on October 31, there will be an opportunity for young and old to carve pumpkins from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. (8€).
Food and drinks are provided in the garden of the property. Admission to the HauntedHouseRheingau costs 5€ per person, and tickets are available at the box office.
Entry to the Haunted House costs €5
