Zum Krug has been family-owned since the Second World War. Even back then, Josef Laufer I said ‘small and fine, that's the way it should be’ - and we keep this motto till today. Some things have changed, but the tradition has remained. Our lovingly furnished guest rooms are small and cosy. In our more than 300-year-old half-timbered house, there are eight Comfort rooms, six of them with new bathrooms since January 2023, lovingly and individually furnished in a traditional, modern style. After purchasing the former town hall of Hattenheim, we extensively renovated it, integrated it into our main building and are now pleased to present you with seven lovingly and modernly designed rooms. Here you will find tradition, heritage protection and modern architecture in a room concept thematically adapted to the region: deluxe rooms with illustrious names such as Burgunder Suite, Riesling, Bollesje, Rhein, Hattenheim and Kloster Eberbach.
