The hunting lodge Platte, a Renaissance building from the year 1826 and once the autumn residence of the royal family of Nassau, was destroyed in World War II except for its outer walls. Today, after extensive restoration work, it is used as a unique event location.

The classicist structure with its square floor plan unmistakably has the picturesque-romantic character of a ruin. It is protected and covered by a state-of-the-art steel-glass construction. Upon entering the interior, another architectural-historical dimension unfolds: The unique staircase, a rotunda with opposing spiral staircases in the form of a double helix, has been faithfully restored.

The combination of old architecture and new elements, such as a glass roof and a viewing platform, emphasizes the extraordinary character of the castle. As a location for events of any kind, it captivates with its beautiful view of Wiesbaden and the Rhine Valley, as well as its very special ambiance.
 
The event area includes the ground floor and the upper floor. The ground floor is especially suitable as a lounge and party area, as well as for receptions or exhibitions. The particular attractiveness of the 380 m² large upper floor is due to the brightness of the room created by the glass roof and the view through the generous windows. Festive receptions and standing parties can accommodate up to 600 guests. By appropriately dividing the rooms, smaller groups starting from 60 people can also enjoy the extraordinary character of the castle. The outdoor area of the
hunting lodge Platte includes a forecourt and a green space behind the house, which are ideally suited for receptions and summer festivities.

The hunting lodge Platte collaborates with long-standing and proven partners for catering, technology, furniture, and decoration. The caterers have access to a spacious kitchen area with all necessary connections.
