Herb walk in the Gothic wine village – Indian summer and harvest festival

Experience the autumnal world of plants on the guided walk through Kiedrich's vineyards and fields. During the approximately two hours, you will get to know what grows along the wayside and what can be transformed into food and drink or even into soothing medicine.
There will also be something to taste.
The plants are preparing for winter and the fall of leaves. Nutrients are stored and built up. The leaves turn yellow or red, seeds and fruits ripen.
Together with biologist Kathi Huth, we will discover which ones are edible and which might even be health-promoting? What should be considered when foraging? What can be crafted into decorations?

The walks take place in all weather conditions. We ask for appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear! At the end, there will be something to taste and inspire each time.
