Rheingau Geflüster - Tour Walluf

From the parking lot in Johannisfeld, the first "pick" is quickly reached, the Johanniskirche ruin. The Johanniskirche, which was once the center of the village of Walluf. First the center, then no longer, then a barn and ice cellar and then almost forgotten: The Johanniskirche is much more than just a ruin. And it has a long and exciting history. Listen to it!

Now stroll to the Walluf Rhine bank past the sailing harbor and wine tasting stand and turn into Rheinstraße at Alten Bock. Opposite the vineyard once stood a stately villa. The "Million Meyers" lived here. The scan leads to another exciting story. Continue through the peaceful streets of Walluf past the Catholic parish church and up Kirchgasse. Cross the main street and follow Hasselnussgasse. A stone bridge leads over the idyllic babbling Wallufbach to "Paradise." On Mühlstraße, you will find another sign with a QR code on the left. Just scan it and find out what the beautiful miller at Bartholomä is up to. The best way back to the Rhine bank is through Mühlstraße past the winery and Gutsauschank Bug, which invites you to stop in the cozy wine tavern. After crossing Rheinstraße, the path leads through the Mühlgraben back to the Walluf wine tasting stand.
