The path leads through the melodious sites Rothenberg, Wülfen, and Nonnenberg up to the Nonnenschlösschen. The nuns of the once nearby Tiefenthal monastery gave the late-classical villa its name. Reaching the wine tasting stand at the top, the Rauenthal winemakers invite you to taste the elegantly mineral wines from the slate-covered sites. The highest point and highlight is Bubenhäuser Höhe. A picnic spot with a panorama cinema: first meadows and orchards, behind them the forested southern slopes of the Rhein-Taunus Nature Park, and ahead the view opens wide into the Rhine-Main area. Enjoy the all-around view before returning to the valley past the state domain Rauenthal.
