Taste young Riesling, velvety Pinot Noir and exciting rarities on cozy summer nights accompanied by live music and gastronomic highlights from the region. Taste our famous Rieslings and learn about the different vineyard sites. In addition, Rüdesheim restaurateurs will spoil you with light and hearty regional dishes. Celebrate from midday until late in the evening. Cozy summer nights invite you to celebrate, dance and chat under the lime tree. Our family business has now been established for five generations. Jakob Vogt (great-grandfather of Georg Vollmer) began growing wine in 1900. In 1979, Georg and Gerti Vollmer suddenly moved their living area two stories up and opened the still popular wine tavern on the ground floor, which is favored by locals and tourists alike. Since 2014, Georg and his son Christoph have been running the winery together, sharing their passion for viticulture and the local wine tavern. A total vineyard area of 5 hectares is cultivated, distributed across the Rüdesheimer, Eibinger, and Geisenheimer locations. The majority of the area is planted with the typical Rheingau Riesling (about 90%), while the remaining area is planted with Pinot Noir.
