The young cabaret of the Berlin DISTEL

Satire for politically incorrect times: With a mix of modern stand-up and classic political satire, the duo Henning Ruwe and Martin Valenske entertainingly comment on current events, without moralizing and always a little meaner than their carefree youthful faces suggest!

Plenty of artistic intelligence on an analog theater stage, a rare stroke of luck in German-speaking cabaret. In their programs, they captivate the audience "with a very unique view of the world: pointed, biting, and very funny." (Berliner Morgenpost). Not only in Berlin, but also regularly performing outside in all of Germany, the two humor professionals are now coming to the Rheingau.

There are very few good reasons (forest fire, gas delivery, special operation) to miss the performance of the consolation prize-winning cabaret artists Henning Ruwe and Martin Valenske: Highly political, extremely mean, and only mildly conciliatory between the lines, they confront all political
failure and its failures of today with their program. Sometimes involuntary, but always very funny, the two young cabaret artists of the Berlin Distel leave nothing unaddressed, much like the food industry.
