Kloster Johannisberg

The monastery church was built in 1928 and the Benedictine monastery in 1956. Due to a lack of successors, the monastery was handed over in 1991 by the Benedictine nuns living in strict enclosure to missionary sisters of the Society of the Divine Word. However, this order also only lasted a few years in the monastery. Since the beginning of 2006, the monastery, along with the monastery church, has become a conference hotel with a large garden area. Currently, the monastery hotel is undergoing renovations.
