In the foreground of the stele, you see the vineyard Schönhell. Wine towns are situated on the Rhine lower terrace. On the older middle terrace, viticulture prevails. The hills to the right were elevated together with the Taunus. Hard rock substrate (Johannisberg) or geological disturbances (Vollrads) create distinct terrain edges.
