Silvio Schneider: PASSIONS Groovy World Guitar

Silvio Schneider - guitarist, composer, globetrotter - has just returned from the south. Mallorca, Tuscany, and South America are his regular inspirations. Sun, rhythm, and passionate influences from around the world. Thus, he mixes groovy funky rhythms with smooth Bossa, jazz with pop, and adds a few influences from flamenco, classical music, electronic sounds, and loops to develop his very own sound: GROOVY WORLD GUITAR. 

For over 25 years, he has been traveling around the world, giving about 2,000 concerts and workshops in Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Poland, France, Spain, Luxembourg, Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden, Russia, Macedonia, Turkey, Lebanon, Madagascar, Mauritius, the USA, Mexico, Canada, Cuba, along the west coast of Africa, and all the way to Japan.

In 2018, he won the “German Rock and Pop Prize” in the category of “Best Guitarist.”

Rheingau Geflüster combines a city walk with audio contributions, texts, images, and films that can be easily scanned, played, and collected with a smartphone. The short walk through the historic old town of Hochheim passes the parish church of St. Peter and Paul and the Grager Villa.
