The Kneipp footpath facility is located in the district of Rauenthal, extending from "Auf der Großen Straße," about 500 meters past the hiking parking lot at the barbecue hut.

The foot basin was extensively modernized in 2016, the outdoor area redesigned, seating added, and pathways created. To expand the offerings for healthy, circulation-boosting Kneipp treatments, there is also an arm bath opposite at the Rauenthal fountain.

The facility is situated in close proximity to the Rheinsteig stage "Kiedrich-Schlangenbad" and the extra tour "Rauenthaler Spange," making it an ideal resting place.
