Ausstellung Maike Freche

Exhibition Painting by Maike Freche The media library in Eltville will show the works of artist Maike Freche from Friday, October 30, to Saturday, December 5, 2026. The exhibition can be visited during the opening hours of the media library. The opening reception will take place on Friday, October 30, at 7 p.m. Admission is free. For many years, Maike Freche has been dedicated to painting. Her works are characterized by large-format image compositions that impress with expressive brush strokes and a sense for harmonious color worlds.  Maike Freche lives and works in the Rheingau and paints with acrylic on canvas or on antique wood. Many of her works belong to private art collectors in Germany and abroad. Workshop "For Kids - We Go to Print" with Sitta Derstroff in the Eltville Media Library The Eltville Media Library invites children aged 8 and over to the workshop "We Go to Print" on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Wollmerschied once belonged to the Free State of Flaschenhals. Wollmerschied once belonged to the Free State of Flaschenhals and today is surrounded on three sides by Rhineland-Palatinate. The path follows the border for a stretch – partly along historic traces. A boundary stone with the Mainz wheel recalls that the Rheingau belonged to the Diocese of Mainz for centuries. The enjoyable round leads through gentle meadow landscapes and secluded forests in the valleys of Werkerbach and Bienbach.
