We invite you to join us in harvesting grapes and learning much about the making of wine. After a sparkling glass of sparkling wine to welcome you, there will first be a hearty meal from Jutta's kitchen. Then we head to the vineyards with tractors and other vehicles. Once we arrive, the basics of grape picking will be explained. Armed with buckets and scissors, everyone dives into the grapes and vines and can demonstrate their skill in cutting grapes. Because work also makes you thirsty, breaks will of course be taken from time to time to check the wine quality of the previous year.

After the harvest, we drive with the filled grape carts to the pressing house. Here, you can observe the grape reception and, of course, there will be a first taste of the must. In the cellar, the experience continues; during a sampling of the young wine, we will show you modern cellar techniques and explain how must turns into wine. After that, a cozy conclusion with hearty food and wine follows.

The “Grape Harvest Event” costs €49 for adults and €19 for children over one meter tall. All meals for the day are included.
All helpers will receive an additional 10% discount on purchases in our wine shop on the day of the grape harvest.

We recommend clothing suitable for the weather and vineyard. If available, please bring a large bucket and a sturdy pair of scissors.
