At our winery in the midst of the vineyards, we offer you a stunning view of the Middle Rhine Valley, an outdoor terrace in the vineyards, as well as plenty of seats in the protected indoor area.

Enjoy our current wines under personal and professional advice in our pressing hall, and afterwards indulge in a delicious meal with a good glass of SOHNS wine in our wine tavern.

We are happy to be available for wine sales throughout the year (except Sundays, our day of rest). If nature calls and we are currently in the vineyard or out for an appointment, we want to avoid you standing at a closed door. Therefore, we recommend that you call us in advance at 06722-8940 to announce your visit. This way, we can ensure that we are there for you.

Try our current wines with personal and expert advice in our pressing hall and enjoy a delicious meal with a good glass of SOHNS wine in our wine tavern afterwards.

Opening hours of the wine tavern:
Wednesday to Friday from 5 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday from 3 p.m.
Monday & Tuesday are days of rest

Vintage tasting in the pressing hall - no reservation required -:
Saturday and Sunday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Weingut Sohns

The family-run winery Sohns is located in the heart of the Rheingau in the northern part of Geisenheim. In close proximity to the famous wine-growing university, two generations work together under one roof always with the goal of producing top quality in harmony with nature. The seasonally open wine tavern and the vinotheque with a large rooftop terrace offer wine enjoyment with a fantastic panoramic view of the Middle Rhine Valley. There are also two modernly furnished holiday apartments directly at the winery – because a vacation in the Rheingau is worthwhile in every season.
