We invite you to join us on a walk through the historic Steinberg. From the very beginning of the monastery's founding, the favorite vineyard of the Cistercian monks from Eberbach Abbey, and since 1239 in its sole ownership. Gain insight into the history, peculiarities, and expressive wines of this unique monopollage during a two-hour tour through its territory.

Old Riesling vines thrive on Taunus slate, loess-clay, and quartzite soils, which are cultivated according to the latest scientific findings.

Experience the special atmosphere of this place and learn how the origin influences the character of its wine or what sustainability topics we aim to address to preserve the vineyard for future generations.

As a reward, you will be treated to a glass of wine and freshly baked pretzels with Spundekäs at the end.

Bringing a dog is allowed.

Meeting point: Domäne Steinberg at the reception of Steinberg cellar (about 30 minutes on foot from Eberbach Abbey).

No tickets can be purchased on-site. This is possible either online or at the monastery cash register of Eberbach Abbey.
