WINTER LIGHT

An evening with herbs, stories, and fire

 

The Ankermühle invites you to something very simple this evening:

We explore how people have endured the darkness for centuries.

 

Completely without esotericism. Completely without religion. But supported by…
light, fire, scents, community, stories, and rituals.

 

As nature withdraws, our own rhythm also changes. Together we look at old customs that have always preserved light, warmth, and hope. Some protected home and farm, others helped to

let go of the old and bravely face the new year.

 

Iris Kilian, an herbalist from Assmannshausen, will accompany us through these hours. She will share her deep knowledge about the power of nature and the art of smoking herbs. We will create our own winter light smoking mixture and travel together

in a meditation to the inner source of light.

 

Outside in the garden, we will bring old rituals to life at the large fire bowl. In the glow of the flames, we will listen to cozy stories and the sounds of the winter night. Strengthening foods will cook over the embers while the

hot herbal punch with cloves and mugwort warms us from within.

The number of participants is limited. Registration in advance is required.

Cost per person 59.00 €, including VAT, materials, food, and beverages.
