Pop Art meets Photography – the visual world of Kai Loos

The exhibited works by Kai Loos combine photography with a unique interpretation of pop art. The starting point is always his own photographs – including landscapes, street scenes, and everyday motifs.

Through digital editing, surprising, color-intensive, and sometimes surreal images are created.

In doing so, Kai Loos aims to preserve the original character of the motif while simultaneously opening up a new perspective through the "poppy" design.

The works are created as high-quality fine art digital prints on canvas and then stretched onto stretcher frames.

Kai Loos, born in 1961, has lived in Eltville in the Rheingau since 1995. His passion for photography began after a stay in Australia. Since then, his travels have taken him to all continents – he is particularly fascinated by Iceland, the Himalaya region, and the pristine landscapes of the North.
